About Us
Actionclad 2001 Ltd as the name suggests, was registered as a private limited company in 2001 but in fact was established in 1987 by the same family who run it now. The original founder, now semi-retired, David Cox has built the company on 40 years of experience in the steel industry and is now passing on his knowledge to his son James as well as playing a supportive role in maintaining continuity in the running of a successful family business.
In 2005 the company was re-located to Foston where an increase in storage space has enabled the company to expand and give our customers a much more varied choice of products. Through recommendation by many of our base customers whom we have dealt with for over 20 years, we have built a solid and reliable business in the basis that ACTION is not only the name of our company but a fundamental byword of what the company is all about.
